By booking a charter or accessing our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
MeadowGladePortal offers an assortment of yacht charter services, which include:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
All services are dependent on availability and subject to weather conditions. We hold the power to change or cease services at any given time.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To reserve a charter, the following are required:
- A minimum age of 18 years
- Up-to-date and precise information
- Prepayment of the stipulated deposit as noted in your booking confirmation
- Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
A booking is only considered firm when payment has been made and our acknowledgment in writing is received. We reserve the prerogative to decline service to anyone of our choosing.
3.3 Availability
All charters are contingent upon vessel availability and suitable weather circumstances. We will attempt earnestly to accommodate your requested dates and times.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Our quoted prices are in € and inclusive of any relevant taxes, unless stated otherwise. Prices are susceptible to alteration without prior notification.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the overall cost of the charter, payable at the time of booking
- Final payment: Required 48 hours prior to departure
- Incidental expenses (if any): Payable upon conclusion of the charter
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept a variety of payment formats such as major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Our payment procedures are safeguarded using encrypted systems.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- With over 72 hours notice before departure: Full refund, excluding processing fees
- Between 24 to 72 hours before departure: Half of the amount is refunded
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No reimbursement provided
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In case of unsafe weather conditions as adjudged by our captain, we will propose to:
- Reschedule the charter to another available date at no extra charge
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not an option
5.3 Mechanical Issues
Should there be mechanical issues with the assigned vessel, we will strive to supply an adequate substitute. If a suitable alternative is not available, we will issue a full refund.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests are expected to:
- Adhere to all instructions given by the crew
- Utilize provided safety gear when mandated
- Disclose any medical conditions that may impact their safety
- Stay within the specified areas of the ship
6.2 Prohibited Items
Items not allowed on board comprise:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or other weapons
- Excessive beverages (beyond reasonable personal consumption)
- Pets (unless granted permission ahead of time)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers should maintain respectful behavior at all times. We hold the authority to end a charter prematurely without issuing a refund if passenger conduct is deemed a safety threat or if it mars the experience for other individuals on board.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
We restrict our accountability to the charges paid for your charter. We carry no responsibility for:
- Physical injuries originating from passenger carelessness
- The loss or damage to personal property
- Indirect or consequential losses, or punitive damages
- Delays due to climatic factors or events outside our reasonable control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Comprehensive marine insurance is in place, enveloping our ships and operations. It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they have appropriate travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By engaging in our charter services, you recognize that maritime activities carry with them inherent dangers, and you accept accountability for your personal safety and security.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We hold the right to alter itineraries, routes, or schedules due to weather conditions, safety needs, or operational demands. We will do our best to supply comparable substitute experiences.
9. Force Majeure
Our company is not accountable for deferrals, cancellations, or alterations stemming from factors beyond our control, which include, but are not limited to:
- Extreme weather conditions
- Natural catastrophes
- Regulations by the government
- Port blockades
- Mechanical breakdowns
10. Privacy and Data Protection

11. Intellectual Property
